In 2022, Davidson Day Middle School students and STEM teacher Mrs. Mullineaux embarked on a project to remember by developing plans to build, launch, and track a miniboat off the East Coast while engaging with the coastal community. The miniboat’s journey has fostered relationships and friendships with a crabber, a reality TV boat captain, a lifeguard, and a middle school class in the Outer Banks.
On Friday, January 31st, Davidson Day Learning Enrichment Center Tutor Anne McGraw presented at the sold-out North Carolina Association of Independent Schools Neurodiversity Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. Registrants and presenters attended various sessions to explore ways to reach children who need different approaches and strategies to learn.
In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Davidson Day School proudly announces the inaugural class of inductees into the Patriot Athletic Hall of Fame. Established by the Davidson Day Athletic Department in collaboration with the Patriot Athletic Club, the Patriot Athletic Hall of Fame pays tribute to the greats of Davidson Day Athletic.
On Friday, December 6th, our third-grade classes hosted a food drive during morning and afternoon carpools to collect canned goods for the Nourish Up Food Pantry at the Ada Jenkins Center.
