Acclaim Scholars Program

To commemorate the school’s 25th anniversary, Davidson Day is proud to introduce the Acclaim Scholars Program for new rising 8th-grade applicants entering the 2025-26 school year (Class of 2030). This exceptional scholarship will cover 90% of tuition through graduation, contingent upon the student maintaining good standing. Applicants must exhibit a strong academic profile and demonstrate exemplary character. Families are required to complete a financial aid application through Clarity and qualify for financial assistance.

Wolter Family Foundation Scholarship

This prestigious scholarship covers all but $500 of annual tuition and is designed for students who excel academically and actively contribute to the Davidson Day community through participation in co-curricular activities. Applicants must provide strong personal recommendations and demonstrate significant financial need through the financial aid application process. The scholarship is available to rising 9th-grade applicants and is intended to support the recipient through graduation, provided the student remains in good standing.

Financial Aid Steps

  • 1. Create Online Clarity Financial Aid Account

    Create an account with Clarity Financial Aid. All users must create a new Clarity account your first time using the system.
  • 2. Complete Financial Aid Application

    Complete your biographical information and select Davidson Day School as the school you are applying to. Sign and submit a Form 4506c to give Clarity permission to pull your prior year tax returns. This means you won't need to upload your tax forms yourself!

    The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit.

  • 3. Financial Aid Committee Review

    The Financial Aid Committee meets in early March, and then regularly on a rolling basis, to review applications and award financial aid. 

    Prior to consideration, a financial aid application must be completed with Clarity
  • 4. Review Enrollment Tuition Contract

    Once an award is made and an enrollment tuition contract is offered, review your child's contract.  

    You may reach out to the Admissions Office with any questions you may have regarding your child's contract or financial aid award. 

    We ask families to review and sign contracts within two weeks of receipt.
