DDS falls to Myers Park in Charlotte Hoops Challenge

The DDS girls basketball team lost to 4A Myers Park HS 64-44 in the Charlotte Hoops Challenge held at Myers Park HS.  The team had lapses in execution and struggled shooting from the floor. The loss drops the record to 2-1 on the young season.  Parker Tompkins led the team with 19 points.  Maya Caldwell added 10 points.  The team showed signs of improvement in the third quarter with good ball movement and unselfish play with a 22pt effort in the quarter.  The team looks to get back on track vs. Community School Of Davidson on Tuesday.
