DDS girls baskeball team handles Westminster Catawba Christian School

The DDS girls basketball team defeated WCCS 75-8.  Parker Tompkins led the team in scoring with 23 points and 5 rebounds.  Maya Caldwell added 16 points 12 steals and 6 assists.  Applying full court pressure early proved to be to much for the visiting team as the girls raced out to a 24-3 first quarter lead and never looked back.  The team travels to HPCA today in a PACIS conference game tip is at 5:30.
