DDS runs to first home victory of the year

The DDS girls basketball team improved to 2-0 with a convincing 68-23 win over Christ the King.  The lady patriots used great half court defense and the running game to get out to a 23-5 lead.  Parker Tompkins lead all scorers with 20 pts. many points came in transition.  Maya Caldwell followed with 15 including 3 3 pt. baskets.  Senior Alexas Bradford added 12.  Ryann Sinclair closed out the double digit scorers with 11 pts. including 3 3 pt. baskets.  The girls are off until Saturday when they travel to play Myers Park to play in the Charlotte Hoops Challenge at 6p
