DDS Girls defeat Caldwell Academy 59-11 in first round of NCISAA tournamnet

The DDS Girls Basketball team defeated Caldwell Academy 59-11 in the opening round of the NCISAA 2A state tournament Thursday morning at 10 am at North Raleigh Christian Academy.  Parker Tompkins scored 18 pts. and Maya Caldwell had 17 pts. 5 steals and 5 assists in the victory.  Courtney Meadows finished 9 pts. and 6 steals.  The team had 18 total assists for the game which was shortened due to a running clock in the third quarter. The team will face the winner of #4 North Side Christian Academy and #5 Cary Christian tomorrow at 4pm.  The girls hope for your continued support as we move forward in the tournament.
