Davidson Day Hosts 25th Anniversary Celebration

On Saturday, March 29th, Davidson Day School hosted its 25th Anniversary Celebration. In an evening filled with community and fun, Davidson Day parents, alumni, faculty and staff came together to reflect on the school’s history and look forward to its future.
The evening featured remarks from Head of School Andrew Bishop and three long-standing Davidson Day faculty members: Brad Laatsch, Ann-Marie Harp and Tami Fuller. These three incredible teachers have over 60 years of combined experience at Davidson Day.

Second-grade teacher Ms. Fuller shared some impactful numbers with the event’s attendees.

“The number 920. That’s the number of – approximate number of – kids that we’ve got to see graduate Davidson Day. 345. That’s the number of kids that I’ve taught since I started at Davidson Day. It’s even scarier to think that out of those 345, 200 of them are now adults. And one of which has his child at Davidson Day.”

Ms. Fuller continued, “I have been at Davidson Day for 23 years, and it is my home. And it’s really the number one place I want to be, and number one because of all of you who are here tonight.”

The 25th Anniversary Celebration was a testament to the strong sense of community that defines Davidson Day School. As attendees reminisced about the past and looked ahead to the future, one thing was clear: the school’s legacy of excellence, connection and lifelong impact will continue for generations to come. Here’s to the next 25 years of learning, growth and shared memories at Davidson Day!
